The conveying medium is characterized by high temperature, high viscosity, suspended particles and solid content with a diameter greater than 10mm, and the medium can crystallize and solidify into sheet solids in a short time when it is not fully reacted, and tangles accumulate between two blades, resulting in reduced pump flow, head, low efficiency, blocked flow passage, etc. At the same time, as the liquid level of polymerization kettle decreases, the pressure gradually decreases from 0.8Mpa to 0.02Mpa, and the pressure at the pump inlet is unstable, leading to obvious pump vibration and evacuation.
Principle:
The back blade is set at the back of the impeller. The solid concentration gradient is common, which is caused by various forces acting on PVC, including gravity, fluid resistance and centrifugal force. As the slurry flows into the impeller, it needs to turn through a flow angle of 90 degrees to be led out of the pump. Through inertial force and Coriolis force (applied by the blade), the PVC slurry has the highest concentration at the root of the rear cover plate of the impeller, that is, at the side edge where the blade contacts the rear cover plate. By setting the back blade on the rear cover plate of the impeller, the driving pressure of the slurry in the gap is reduced, and a centrifugal force field is formed on the blade and the rear cover plate to discharge particles. This setting can reduce the driving pressure of PVC in the gap and reduce the driving force of the return flow, so that the PVC concentration in the cavity remains uniform and the rear flow speed is reduced to reduce the wear of the blade root.
